XPS M140 - Audio Input
Hello everybody. I just purchased a XPS M140 laptop so I can record songs with my audio program Magix Audio Studio 2004. Unfortunately when I plug in my guitar to the Audio Input I get no "real-time" sound. Same case if I plug in a mic straight into the Audio Input (Input that has a mic pic), there is no sound. I try to speak through the mic and no sound comes through the speakers.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?!?!??!!?!?!

You do sound desperate! So desperate in fact, that you posted this message to a Linux forum. Not sure if moderators can move the message, but here's a link to the main forums page so that maybe you can find a forum that fits better. Doubt anyone here can help you, but you never know. :-)
