my e1505 arrives tomorrow and i'll load up VM and install linux and FreeBSD to see what happens. I got the x1400 so if it works the x1300 should as well
Hi,
i saw that site but the release notes says the driver only supports till x800. Probably it might work but i just wanted to make sure if anyone actually tried because i am not so good with linux configuration
I can actually try with the vmware but do you think u can share the laptop hardware(graphics card) with vmware. I am not sure if it is going to work.i used vmware for running some programs a year back but don't remember seeing anything like that. If there is a way, please let me know.

Well I think if the drivers are not for X1300 or X1400 we'll have to wait.
Regarding the normal operation your could try the normal VGA drivers i think they should work in normal mode.
