install windows 10 in dual boot or a VM
Hi,
I just received my desktop XPS 8930. Does any one know if I erase everything, and install linux and Windows 10 as dual boot, will Windows 10 activation successful? Dell's rep says the product key is on the MB, and it should be fine.
What if I install linux only, and then create Windows 10 as VM inside linux, will Windows 10 activaion successful?
If anyone has done these things, please let me know. Thanks!

XIAOYI,
The Windows 10 Activation should still activate the OS. I am sure someone on the forum has performed this process and that they will provide some tips/feedback.
