EMC and Windows Server Catalog Programme

Does EMC still partipate in Microsoft's Windows Server Catalog programme? I cannot locate any recent storage arrays under the "hardware" search page.

Is this something we should pick up again?

Not sure I understand the question.  I did a quick search and came up with this:

http://www.windowsservercatalog.com/results.aspx?text=VNX&bCatID=1282&avc=10&ava=0&OR=5&chtext=&cstext=&csttext=&chbtext=

and

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/ff182054.aspx

Are you looking for something more specific or more general?

Thanks Bart, thanks for the response.  I also found the same links as you.  What i was asking, EMC use to submit technology solutions to the Windows Server Catalog programme e.g. EMC CX4 with Brocade Slikworm xxxx.  However these are very old enteries and I was asking if we ever considered submitting any our newer solutions.

Sorry about the delay responding, but we do submit current HW.  If you go to the Windows Server Catalog -> Hardware -> Storage -> Hardware Based RAID, select EMC, and go to the last couple of pages (the listings are pretty much in chronological order) you'll see all the latest listings for VMAX, VNX, and VNXe.

One thing that has changed (and greatly reduced the number of listings we have to post) is that Microsoft eliminated the Cluster solutions category as of Windows Server 2008.  Now, as long as your base storage is qualified for Windows Server 2008 or 2008 R2, the only requirement for Microsoft support is that you run and pass the cluster validation wizard right after setting up (or changing) your cluster configuration and be prepared to show the validation report to Microsoft support when you make a support call.
