Dell Venue 11 Pro - Active Pen Control Panel

Hello, I can't install this software for my Stylus PN556W when I try to run it tells me "a supported tablet not found on the system". Please help me to solve this problem, or give a link for a stable version of the driver. Thank you very much.

That utility is only for the new systems that were just released - these use a new stylus.   The utility is not compatible with the previous generation of Venue and Venue Pro systems as they use a stylus from a different supplier.

I'm having the same problem, I ordered the stylus from the dell website for the 7140 pro and they sent me the PN556w stylus. Having exactly the same problem as above, any idea what stylus I should be using? I have upgraded the 7140 to windows 10 by clicking the windows upgrade but have made no other changes. Any help would be great.

There is one problem, I'm not from USA, so I've ordered that stylus to my country : Latvia. I've pay for transportation 11$ :) Price for the stylus was smth between 39-50$ price doesn't matter. The problem is that it is useless piece of junk ;) Before ordreding that piece of junk I've spoke with SUPPORT in chat, and they told me THAT YES IT WILL WORK 100%. So I've ordered that piece of junk ... *** quite a lot of piece of junk ... and it is not working at all ... so I went again to support center, and there I've received next info ... wait for 3 months and maybe it will start work, it is already 4 months gone ... this piece of junk, still doesn't work ... and if to speak honestly I really don't care ;) I was deceived by a SUPPORT FROM DELL. FACEPALM.

I'm in the same boat and I think the PN556W pen is for the newer tablets which use a different digitizer.  I did some research and the new tablets use the Wacom pen and digitizer screen and the some of the Venue's (like the 71xx series) use the Synaptics pen and digitizer screen.  It's confusing as ***.

I tried to get the pen working on our 7130 and 7140 with no luck.  When I paired it with our new 7275 it worked perfectly.

According to the compatible products list, it shows that only the following tablets are compatible: 

• Inspiron (7568) (FHD Only) 'wake up feature not available'
• Latitude 11 (5175)
• Latitude 11 (5179)
• Latitude 7275
• Venue 10 Pro (5056)
• Venue 8 Pro (5855)
• XPS 12 (9250)

For the Synaptics digitizers I believe that we need the Active Stylus part 750-AAGN.  I ordered some today so I'll try and post the results.

The new pen (all silver) is not compatible with the previous Venue 11 products.   Those use the silver pen with the black buttons/tip.   The pen control panel is not compatible with the silver/black pen - only with the new all silver pen.

Okay no problem mate, several questions.

1. WHY IN CONSULTING CHAT DUDE WHO WORKS ON DELL TOLD ME TO BUY STYLUS PN556W?
2. WHY OTHER DUDE FROM DELL CONSULTING CENTER TOLD ME, WAIT FOR 3 MONTHS AND THERE WILL BE UPDATE, AND EVERYTHING WILL WORK.

And now some words from me ...

1. I've bought what told guy from dell.
2. I've waited for 3 months.
3. Device is piece of junk, I don't use it for what I've bought it.
4. And I cant get money back for this device, because return time already expired. (I've bought Certified Refurbished)
5. Your support center is incompetent.
6. How I can now get money back? 400$ for device which is not working.

What can you do? And how you can help me? :)

Well then, where can I find a link to the correct stylus for my Venue 11 Pro 7140?
