Dell Venue Pro showing up as unknown USB Device
When I plug it into the computer it comes up as Device driver installation failed and in device manager it is showing as unrecognized usb devices. It can not find any drivers through online also.
I tried connecting to another laptop too. Need to try with another USB cable. another suggestions what may be the issue.
Can we get device driver directly from dell?
Please help me fixing this issue !!

I've had this problem ever since I applied the Dell update post NoDo.

Yes, unfortunately I am. Although the issue occured with 4.7 as well.
I've even recently formatted/reset the phone in hopes that it would fix this, but no luck.
Zune version 4.8
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1, x64
I've seen several other posts around the web, and even followed the steps to fix this on an XP machine sent via a Microsoft MVP, but no luck.
If only there were specific drivers that Dell could provide, it might help.

I have the same Problem, please help, what shall i do.
On Windows 7 with no problem, on Windows XP just with problem.

I have the same trouble with one of mine.
I tried 2 computers. 2 installations of the 4.8 zune software. 2 different cables. cable works fine with 1 of my venue pros not with the other.
Any resolution? Any way to find drivers and get rid of the "other devices?"
