New Venue 8 Pro awful 128Gb MicroSD card Support?

I tried several 128gb SDF card on my new Venue 8 Pro. Not a single one can be used. Tablet lost connection to sd card every second, disconnects in the middle of copy operation.

This tablet suppose to support 128Gb sd card so what is wrong with it!?

Do you have the same issue with other size cards?  It sounds like an issue with the physical seating of the card.

I have the same exact issue with my Venue 8 Pro 5855 (And also the fluctuating sound issue described in my own post). I've tried multiple 128GB cards that work perfectly fine with the older Venue 8 Pro 5830, but they all kept disconnecting randomly.

Then I tried my older SLOWER 128GB SD card and it worked. It seems like this new tablet cannot support SD cards that are 80MB/s... only 48MB/s ones work.

Sigh, I really loved the original Dell Venue 8 Pro and was really excited about an upgrade, but this so called "upgrade" lacks ambient light sensor and is plagued by various technical issues....
I should have bought a surface 3.

I'm really disappointed in this product AND in lack of any replies from Dell.

I tried to replace "Intel SD Host Controller" driver with the one of Windows 8.1 version, and now my Sandisk 64GB sdcard works normally, and no longer randomly ejects/disconnects.

This shoud be an issue related to WIndows 10, please report it in Feedback Hub or vote for this.
