DV8 3845 - stuck on Dell Logo
Hi,
Sorry for writing in english, but I'm french and my tablet has been purchased to Amazon.de therefore service should come from Dell Germany...
My tablet has been purchased in April 2015 from Amazon, but warranty was ending on the 24th of October, 2015 as per Dell website.
On the 23rd of October, my tablet stop working, stuck at the Dell Logo. I can access the setup (Bios) but I'm unable to boot either from the internal storage or an external device (CDRom, USB flash disk, recovery media). I can't neither start the Diagnotics, stuck on black screen.
The tablet was operating on Windows 10 and I had just reloaded Win 8.1 due to too many issue with W10.
I have opened a case on Dell.de the 23rd at 23:15 (Request #: 918968411) which is still not assigned. When I want to start a chat session, I'm answered the support has ended for my product.
Could you please indicate:
-if there is an easy way to recover my tablet?
-if the warranty will apply in case of need?

Hi,
Can you see the Windows loading circle below Dell-Logo?
Please power off your Tablet. Press Volume Down and Up buttons together and then the power button. Started the Recovery mode?
Please send me the Service Tag Number in private message.

Hi Martin,,Thanks for taking care of my request!
No windows loading circle.
Recovery mode start with the following message:
Rom Image Update denied
EFI_NOT_FOUND! Rom Image is not loaded
Flash update parameters.
Service tag in you message box!
