1901FP tv/dvd question

I have a new 1901FP and viewing DVDs, even at full screen, is very clear and precise.  Viewing cable tv through my tv tuner card however looks horrible at full screen.  I don't have digital cable, is this the reason why?

What differences are there between a 1901fp lcd and the dell lcd tvs?

got me a leadtek tv card, and it seems like i got a better picture when i used a shorter cable running into the port on back of card. had a 25 ft cable, moved computer into different room , used different cable outlet that let me use a 7 ft cable.

I am using a 6' co-axial cable so I don't think it is any type of signal degredation.  i will try a different cable to see if it make a differance.  cable tv just seems really pixalated at full screen but looks pretty good at .25 size.
