2007 FP - does the firmware fix the blurry text issue? (yes it does)

Got my "new" 2007 FP today. It's a Mexico A02 (replaced a China A00). I never had the banding issue on the old one, but the blurry text was driving me nuts. Thought I'd give the exchange a chance. To my surprise, the new monitor seems perfect. No banding, no blurry text, no dead pixels. It's aces.

Now if only my Dell 42" HD plasma at home didn't have issues. I've bought 3 dell displays (42" plasma TV, 2007 FP and 2005 FPW) and had issues with 2 of them. I am a little nervous about purchasing a Dell display in the future.
