2407WFP, Disintegrated cable due to heat?
After a "Flash and Bang" I've found my 2407WFP power supply board is burnt. Now I am replacing it, I noticed the cable connecting the Mother/sigmal board is totally disintegrated into a pile of powder exposing the bare wires.
Is this typical for old machine? Where can I get another one? Please help.

Unfortunately, Dell does not repair monitors, sell monitor components, or have monitor disassembly documentation. You could look for spare parts on eBay or craigslist. The cost of repair will outweigh the current market value ($40) of this 11 year old monitor. For safety reasons, we recommend disposing of it and buying a replacement.
