AW2310, black screen, repair options?

Hello all,

Many years ago I purchased a Dell Alienware OptX AW2310 which was quite frankly brilliant. A couple of years after use unfortunately, the screen started to switch off/go black. This would happen after a few minutes but I noticed if I lowered the light levels it would stay working! Anyway, I kept with the low light levels for a further year until it stay black screen so it went in the loft! I read somewhere that this issue can simply be resolved by replacing bulging capacitors? I would like to take look but I have no idea how to remove the panel to look inside? There appears to be no screws? Any idea`s or a diagram anywhere? This monitor needs a second chance of life! it was brilliant!
