Can I hook up a Dell PC to a Dell monitor, using VGA, and hook up a Mac mini using DVI (as long as I'm only using one computer at a time)?

I recently purchased a Mac mini to go along with my Dell PC (Vostro mini tower).  I'd like to use each computer at different times for different purposes.  Is it possible to have both computers connected to the Dell 4000 monitor (via VGA for the Dell, and DVI for the Mac, as long as I'm only using one computer at a time?
