Can't get 1080p on 2407WFP-HC over component on PS3
Hey guys,
So I got a Dell 2407WFP-HC 24" monitor with HDCP for my birthday. The monitor has myriad of ports including composite, S-Video, VGA, component, and DVI-D (with HDCP).
As such, last night I went out and bought the component cables for the PS3 to plug into my monitor as they were cheaper than getting a DVI adaptor for my HDMI cable. Anyway, I plug the cables in and turn on the PS3- I go through all the setup and when I get to choose the resolutions my monitor will do, I check them all.
Once I choose "finish", I'm presented with a black screen and my monitor will flash a message saying that the image is "out of range" and that I need to set it to 1920 x 1200.
I can do 1080i fine, but 1080p is what I want.
