Colour calibration between laptop and monitor

I have a Dell U2713HMt monitor and a Dell Precision M4600 laptop

I'd like the colours on the two screens to match. It does not need to be perfect as I'm not using it for photo editing but I'd like excel sheets to look the same and a lot better then i can get with the present colour temprature options

Currently the best i can get is using the preset colour temp 9300K but with this geens still look to yellow on the monitor. if i increase the colour temp further my whites start to look to blue.

The monitor and laptop are connected via a displayport cable if this is important.

Any help would be great
