DELL E228WFP MONITOR
Hello,
I have a Dell E228WFP monitor that is 2 years old.
The screen goes blank but the green LED light is on.
If you turn the monitor off and then back on it comes back on only to do it again.
I have checked the Delll forum and now understand this to be an inherent DELL problem.
Please help!

Hi ukelele
This is FrustratedBigTime.
I seem to have the same problem but am not sure of my model No. (see recent post).
No-one seems to want to reply which, I think, suggests it is an all too common Dell monitor problem that there is no answer to (except buy another monitor?)
I remain frustrated!

If outside of the original Dell warranty, you will need to have it repaired locally. Order the DELL E228WFPc 715G2244-2 Inverter and Power Module for the following symptoms -
* Bad Inverter Board Symptom: No Display ( No Picture) on screen but Power Indicate light stays on green or Screen Flickering
* Bad Power Supply Symptom: No power, No Indicator lights are green on front panel
We do not sell this item. You will need to search in your region via the internet for DELL E228WFPc 715G2244-2 Inverter and Power Module.
