Latitude 7400, USB Type-C, D6000, Daisy Chain

I have a Latitude 7400 connected to my D6000 dock via USB Type-C. From there, I have a U2417H connected via DP. From there I have a U2410 connected via DP. So a Daisy Chain. I have MST set to On for the U2417H.

All I get is a mirror image on the U2410. They won't show up as two separate monitors.

Any ideas?

For my Dell internal notes, click my DELL-username and send me the following information via a Private Message;
- U2417H service tag number

Note; the nine year old out of warranty U2410 was never tested/validated by Dell in a MST monitors Daisy Chain.

None of our docks USB Type-C/DP/mDP out ports support running multiple monitors in a MST Daisy Chain.

Since both monitors are connected directly to the D6000 dock DP out ports, then there is not an active MST monitors Daisy Chain. In that case, MST should be Off on the U2417H.

In theory using these two monitor models, an Active MST monitors Daisy Chain would look like this when connected to a PC video card. See page 28 in the U2417H User's Guide =

Image

PC video card DP out port --> U2417H DP to mDP cable --> U2417H mDP in port (OSD Menu- Display- MST On)
U2417H DP out port --> U2410 DP to DP cable --> U2410 DP in port
