Daisychain U2417H with E2414H is not possible

I have had my monitor Dell monitor E2414H for quite a while now. I am planning to buy a new monitor Dell UltraSharp U2417H. And planning to daisy-chain it with my monitor that I currently have. Can anyone provide me with a detail on how to be? Much help appreciated.

This is not possible. The E2414H only has DVI in and VGA in. Both monitors in the daisychain must have either a DP (DisplayPort) in port or a mDP in port in additon to one of them having the DP out port. To use both of these monitors, both will have to be connected directly to the computer.

Or what monitor will work well with daisy-chain for E2414H that has the same specs as U2417H?

In this case what DP (DisplayPort). Or what else I need to do to have both monitors working.

How can I connect both of these monitors. Since I have one port for HDMI on my computer that is not in use.

You need a video card with a DP (DisplayPort) or Mini-DP (DisplayPort) out port, and also DVI or VGA out. As I already stated, nothing can daisychain to the E2414H. Why don't you tellus what specific computer you are using.

The Inspiron 3847 has the following rear onboard video out ports = VGA, HDMI

Inspiron 3847 VGA out port --> VGA to VGA cable --> E2414H VGA in port

Inspiron 3847 HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2417H HDMI in port
