Dell 3007WFPHC limited resolution
I have a Dell 3007WFPHC attached as one of two monitors to my Dell M6600 laptop. I am using the port extender so I have can have two monitors while docked.
The 3007 monitor is limited to 1280 x 800 resolution.
I have downloaded driver package R222148 and extracted the files.
They are placed in the C:\dell\drivers\R222148 folder.
However I can't seem to figure out how to get the computer to see these files.
The files are:
3007wfp.cat
3007WFP.icm
3007WFP.inf
DriverLanguageMap.xml

Drivers are not the issue. This monitor can only do 2560x1600 or 1280x800. Something in your setup is not DVI-D Dual Link. To get 2560x1600, the video card port, port extender, and cable must be DVI-D Dual Link.
