Dell Outlet sent me a DVI-D Single Link cable?

When you connect a DVI-D Single Link cable to a monitor that has a DVI-Dual Link connector, the results are that you cannot achieve the higher resolutions, 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 depending on your monitor. Or the resolution may appear but the screen is fuzzy. Look at the end of the DVI cable and compare it to the chart below. The third one is DVI-D Single Link. The fourth one is DVI-D Dual Link.


If you did receive the incorrect DVI-D Single Link cable, you should contact Dell Technical Support for your country. Provide to them the following data -
