Dell S2330MX Power Adapter Issue

Hey,

I had bought a Dell S2330MX LCD monitor (this one  ) and now, when i power up, the monitor displays a message "Wrong Power Adapter Detected" and shuts down in 10 seconds. This issue happened once or twice in the past but re-plugging the power cord did the trick.
Now, the display on my monitor refuses to come up. I've tried re-plugging the power cable as well as display cables, but with no luck.

What should I do now?

    YashG99,

Disconnect the monitor VGA and/or DVI cables from the computer. Disconnect/reconnect the monitor power adapter cable to the power cable. Disconnect/reconnect the power cable to the monitor. Turn the monitor on. You should see one of these images below. If not, the power cable and power adapter cable should be replaced. If so, did you keep the bags the cables came in? They would have 5 digit part numbers on them.

    Hey Chris,

    Thanks for your reply.

I did try to disconnect/reconnect all the cables going into the monitor. But the same results - "Wrong Power Adapter Detected".

And I think I do have the power cable bags with me (got to double-check). Should I mention the 5-digit part numbers here or is there a way to private message it to you?

5120P Power cable. Plugs into the XY3VK AC adapter which then plugs into the monitor.
