Dell SX2210T touch is way out of whack

My SX2210T is not having accurate touch. When I touch the screen the mouse shows up several inches away. I tried reinstalling the drivers and running the Windows calibration tool but that does not work with my finger on the little x's. I cannot use my iPad stylus for it either.

Running Windows 7 Professional and have not done anything to my system with regard to upgrading for a couple of years. Everything else seems to work okay.

Any thoughts?
