Dell U2410 Monitor - Somewhat Minor Annoyance

Hello,

I recently got my new Dell U2410 monitor and it has quite an
annoying problem at times.

Every time I enter/leave a game which is set
to full screen, or minimize a game to desktop - vice versa, the screen sort of
hangs for a second whicn prolongs the small black screen portion of doing said
action and it displays a DVI icon in the upper left corner of the screen
afterwads.

This causes minimizing, entering/leaving games take 1-2
seconds more to minimize/enter/leave which can get pretty annoying at times. Any
idea whats the problem?

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, and I tried 2
different video cards, the problem persists.
