Dell U2413, about calibration

It might be a very silly question but,

I want to know the purpose of having a factory calibration, and the report in the box, if I have to do it myself again at home? (the calibration)

Why do I need to calibrate my screen again?

Regards,

Justin

-monitor ages, calibration and white point drifts. THIS IS THE MAIN CAUSE, no matter if you buy a dell or an Eizo or a a NEC.

-2 factory gamut emulations, both calibrations supposed to be D65. For "pro" use you may (should) need paper white (YOUR PAPER white). You may want specficic gamut emulation too (mobile devices)

-general inspecific factory calibration targets done at high brightness. White for factory AdobeRGB and sRGB modes down to 120cd/m2 will be off >2dE with high probabililty

If you do not have means to calibrate (I mean i1DisplayPro, NOT Spyders), DO NOT buy a Widegamut monitor, PERIOD.
