Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Ultrawide Monitor - U3415W

Hello! I turned my monitor on this morning and wouldn't you know it, there's a black bar running down the left side of the display. I have a warranty with 990 days remaining on it and have NO idea how to use it as I've never had to use a warranty. How do I about this process? Thank you!

We’ll surely try and assist you. Let us know, if you’ve tried connecting the monitor to a different monitor and check if you see the black bar on the second monitor.


Also try the below mentioned and see if the issue reoccurs,

Turn on Uniformity Compensation:
1. Open the Monitor On Screen Display (OSD) Menu
2. Select Display
3. Select Uniformity Compensation
4. Select ON
Exit the Monitor On Screen Display (OSD) Menu.


Private message the following information, so that we can check for more details. 
To send a private message, click on my name and select ‘Send private message’.


1. Service tag
2. Name under which the monitor is registered
3. Serial number of the monitor
4. Invoice copy of the purchase
5. Email address
