Dell Ultrasharp U2711 flickering upon computer bootup
I have a Dell Ultrasharp U2711 that I purchased back in 2011. The monitor is now flickering every time that I boot up my computer, the flicking stops after awhile but is getting worse. I suspect that the CCFL backlight is failing but I'm not sure. has anybody had this problem with model and what did you do to fix it.
You prompt replies will be appreciated.

Regrettably, Dell does not repair monitors, sell monitor components, or have dis-assembly documentation. We simply exchange them while under the three year warranty. You could take it to a local TV repair center to see if they can diagnose the issue. Then look for spare parts on ebay or craigslist.
