Display Port Issue with U2713H Monitor
Hoping someone can help this little issue. I have a Dell U2713H monitor that I have starting using the display port on instead of HDMI as I now plug a laptop into it using a docking station. Now, if the monitor is connected via the display port if the monitor is turned off it will not turn on at all. As if there is no power to the monitor. But if I pull the display port cable out then I can turn it on and plug the port back in and it will function normally until I turn the screen off again. Does anyone have any ideas?

Can you replicate the issue when using a desktop computer? The U2713H has both DP in and mDP in. Can you test them both?
* What specific video card?
* What video out ports are on the Laptop?
* What operating system?
* Explain how the monitor is connected to the computer. For example =
Computer HDMI out --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> Monitor HDMI in
