Dual U2515H, D1000 Docking Station, Cables?
My laptop is an XPS and I want to connect two U2515H with a Dell Dual Docking Station D1000. I downloaded all needed drivers but I am not clear on what cables are needed for two monitors and need help on how to connect them.

You will not be able to get the U2515H maximum resolution 2560x1440 60Hz. The D1000 maximum using two of its video out ports is 2048x1152 60Hz.
Read through the Setup Guide and User's Guide.
The D1000 has VGA/HDMI/DP out ports. You will need to purchase an HDMI to HDMI cable.
XPS Laptop USB 3.0 port --> D1000 USB 3.0 cable --> D1000
D1000 DP out --> U2515H DP to mDP cable --> 1st U2515H mDP in
D1000 HDMI out --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> 2nd U2515H HDMI in

Thank you1. Much more helpful than the users guide. Do you know of a docking station that will provide the max resolution?

I do not. None of these (D1000, D3000, D3100) can drive both monitors at 2560x1440 60Hz. You may have to look to a 3rd party dual display docking station.

I'm trying to drive a 2650x1600 monitor through the display port, but get nothing but a blinking power light on the monitor. The display detection detects a second display, but doesn't show any information.
I came here to see if I could find some troubleshooting information, and see a post that says the maximum resolution is 2650x1440...
That's not what the product description says. It clearly says 2650x1600. Which is correct?
I am using displaylink to Dual-DVI, but that's what I use with my other laptop (Precision M4000 docking station) and it works.

I am confused by your posting. This thread deals with the D1000 dock and the U2515H. Is that what you are using? If not, what specific monitor, computer, and dock are you using?

Sorry, "jonesing" in on a thread I thought my be relevant to my problem...
I have an HP LP3065 monitor that can do 2560x1600; I have an XPS 15 and D1000 that I'd like to use to drive that monitor. The D1000 specs say it can do 2560x1600. I'm using a displayport adapter to dual DVI cable to the monitor.
Windows "sees" the external monitor (looking in the system tray, selecting "video" from the D1000 item in the tray), but it can't detect all the information about it, and all I get on the monitor is a blinking light.
I fear my actual problem is that the displayport connector must not be supporting dual DVI.

HP LP3065 = three DVI-D in ports
D1000 = VGA, HDMI, DP out ports
So using this setup, what resolution is achieved?
* Laptop has the DisplayLink Software installed
* Laptop USB 3.0 out --> D1000 USB I/O cable --> D1000 side USB 3.0 input
* D1000 DP out --> DP to DVI-D DL cable --> HP LP3065 DVI in
Note, your cable must look like the one I linked with all of the DVI-D pins.

If you use normal HDMI cable you might only get up to 1920x1080. To get higher resolution, get a DP cable or 4k HDMI cable. Sometimes it's the cable limiting you not the devices.
