E193FP, Sony Vaio, Monitor driver?

So I need to download the driver for it to work. This is just an old monitor i got from the storage area of my office so all I have is the serial #- CN-0G8432-64180-1RCL. Also I'm using a Sony Vaio comp. Not sure what model this comp is either. By the way I already tried the auto detect with support and it didn't work. So if  anyone could tell me the model and/or just show me where the driver is that I need to download it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

HI JAMES,

Dell 19-inch E193FPCI (1280x1024) Flat Panel LCD Monitor (Black) (Refurbished) Mfr P/N G8432

Take off CN0 and that is the Mfr P/N.

Make sure your video card driver is up to date on the sony Vaio, and what are you using to connect the Monitor to the Sony laptop?

jamesbarre,

The E193FP came out in 2005. We no longer have the User's Guide on the web. The only driver we released was for XP/2000. All newer operating systems will load a generic PNP driver for the monitor.
