E207WFP vs E228WFP

Ok, I bought a XPS 410 system fully loaded (almost, lol, but close enough) and I purchased the 20" flat wide screen moniter (e207wfp) and thought it was a bit small. So, I ordered the 22" (e228wfp) and much to my surprise, it wasn't as crisp as the 20" screen. Perhaps it was because I just started it and it needed to adjust but I still believe that the 20" looked much cleaner. Anyone here have both or purchased both at one time and can tell me what they know? I have packaged my 20" already but am thinking of taking it back out and making a side by side comparison. BTW, both were connected via VGA aswell. The 22" screen also didnt center correctly on the screen and I had to adjust it manually and lower the brightness aswell because it was WAYYY too bright. Did I get a faulty 22" or do they usually have these little hiccups?? Which of the 2 have a better track record? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Both monitors have the same resolution. The E207WFP has a lower pixel pitch (.258mm) compared to .282mm for the E228WFP. The 20" will therefore look sharper. This may not be the sole explanation though.

So in essence, the bigger you go, the less sharp/crisp the monitor will look
In this case, yes but when you get to the 24" widescreen the resolution jumps up to 1920x1200 (.27mm pixel pitch). The 27" is also 1920x1200 (.303mm pixel pitch) so then you have the same issue again.

That makes complete sense, thank you! So in essence, the bigger you go, the less sharp/crisp the monitor will look. I love the size of the 22" but man o man, the 20" looks so darn good! Hard decision for me to make here.
