G3223D, turn off blue rear LED?

I can't seem to find out how to turn off the blue LED on the back of this monitor. From the OSD, I'm able to turn off the LED on the power button, but I'm missing how to turn off the light on the back. Thanks for any assistance.

The IPS glow is also very bright. It's blue on 3/4 of the display and white in the lower right. I'm hoping turning off the blue thing on the back will help. I've never seen IPS glow this bad and different colors across the display. My ancient U2312HM has less IPS glow than this and it's not visible during games. I can see this glow in game on this G3223D.

Hello, you wrote:

"Go to personalize and select lighting as off and save the settings."

I do not have lighting as an option in the personalize submenu.

My options in personalize are:

Shortcut Key 1

Shortcut Key 2

Shortcut Key 3

Powerbutton LED (Set to off in On/Standby Mode)

USB-C Charging

Other USB Charging

Reset Personalization

But no, "Lighting."

Thank you. Could you please upload an image with the blue light on the back side of panel?

Here is an image of the IPS glow using OSD Others - Self Diagnostic - Black screen. This is in a lit room, but there are no light sources reflecting off the display. That is all coming out of the display on a black screen. It's visible in game. See how a lot of it is blue and some is white/grey??? That's why I'm trying to see if turning off the blue light on the back of the monitor could help improve this. It doesn't seem like this display should have passed quality control.

Is the issue only seen on this monitor?

---

This is the only monitor I have that has this glowing effect showing through when playing video games and when watching video. Compare the review above at 4:35 to mine. His is so black it looks off. Now look at mine.

Here are examples of it in video and playing a game.

Just to reconfirm, If you have already run the self-test of the monitor and there was the same issue on that?

Yes.

I'll repost what I wrote above:

Thank you for sharing this information, Could you confirm if you have checked this Monitor on another system?

What's the point if the internal self-diagnostic shows the problem?

My nearly 10 year old U2312HM didn't have this problem on this system.

This is functioning as originally designed. There is currently no option to turn off the blue LED at the back. You should periodically check the G3223D drivers page to see if a firmware update is ever posted.
