Latitude E7450, Two U2415, Daisy chain problems

Refurbished (received this past Wednesday) Latitude E7450 =
i5 5300
Windows 10
8GB ram
256GB hard drive
Two U2415 monitors, no dock station;
Daisy chain problems

======================================

I thought I set things up correctly. I can not adjust the first external U2415 monitor to DP1.2 'enabled'

When I try (with e7450 connected to first monitor and first monitor connected to second monitor), I get a pop up on the first monitor that I need to click on CONFIRM TO ALLOW THE CHANGE FROM DP 1.2 NOT ABLE TO "DP 1.2 ENABLED".

There is no way my cursor will allow that as the cursor is shadowed on the first monitor, and moves about,

SETUP:

Latitude E7450 rear mDP OUT --> mDP to DP cable -->

#1 U2415 DP IN (DP 1.2 Enabled)

#1 U2415 DP  OUT  -- > DP to mDP cable -->

 #2 U2415 mDP  IN  (DP 1.2 Disabled)
============================================
Besides doing it again, are there any further (very specific) instructions suggested? I thought I updated all drivers and bios. The E7450 is connected to Dell driver auto update link.
Thanks in advanced!

You originally stated U2415H which does not exist. Assumed you meant U2415 and edited your post. If still a different model, let me know.

First, I cannot find any documentation that states that the 2014 Latitude E7450 onboard mDP supports DP 1.2? If it only is DP 1.1, then daisy chaining will not work when connecting directly to the mDP out port.

You could get the E-Port Replicator Docking Station which supports DP 1.2.
* Latitude E7450 in dock
* Dock DP out --> DP to mDP cable --> #1 U2415 mDP in (DP 1.2 enabled)
#1 U2415 DP out --> DP to mDP cable --> #2 U2415 mDP in (DP 1.2 disabled)

Or forget daisy chaining and connect like this =
Latitude E7450 HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> #1 U2415 HDMI in port
Latitude E7450 mDP out port --> mDP to DP cable --> #2 U2415 DP in port

Second, you first stated the the #1 monitor could not change to DP 1.2, then later you list it as being set to DP 1.2? That is confusing.
