* The ports on the side of the AC511 are audio aux line in and audio headphone out. There is not a microphone port. A microphone must be plugged directly to the computers microphone in jack
* AC511 plugs into the monitor USB downsteam port
* Computer USB port --> USB upstream cable --> monitor USB upstream port
* Computer HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> monitor HDMI in port
* Open the Windows Playback and choose monitor HDMI as the Default Playback Device. If audio plays, then we know that the AC511 and U2515H are functional
* Approved monitors when released in 2016

* Is the noise heard while playing music or when not playing music, or both?
* In addition to testing the in the monitor back rear USB downstream port, test it in the monitor bottom USB downstream ports. Also test into the computer USB downstream ports
* Turn the volume knob counter clockwise to a low setting, then raise the volume via the Windows volume control. Any difference?

The Alienware OptX AW2210 and AW2310 monitors do not have the built-in DC power connector for Dell Soundbars nor do they have the built-in Dell Soundbar mounting brackets. They do have Audio Line-in and Audio Line-out jacks on the bottom. So you need to purchase a speaker system that has its own power adapter. The configuration would be -
PC Sound card speaker out jack to the monitor Audio Line-in, then monitor Audio Line-out to the external speakers.
