Monitor Touch Sensitive Buttons

Has anyone had issues with theirs and found a fix? I have no response from the touch sensitive buttons on the bottom screen frame of a UP2516D. Although I would like to power on and off at will, thankfully the monitor is in the on position. Still, there is the issue of not being able to access any menu functions.

How long have you had the UP2516D? Purchased New from Dell or Used from a reseller? Are you saying that out of the box, the buttons have not worked? What is the 20 digit serial number?

I attempted to reset by unplugging several times with no good results. Finally after leaving unplugged overnight, the buttons are once again functioning.

The monitor is about 8 months old, I bought it new from an online retailer. Not an out of the box issue, it had been fine until just the other day and now again the buttons are working as should be. Thank you for your reply.
