Monitor gets warm

I have a Dell 1800FP Monitor and for the first time have noticed that is it getting quite warm - at the top/top back and on the screen. It gets warmer the longer the screen is on. Is this normal and do I have something to worry about? Any help, before I contact Dell, would be much appreciated.

Thanks...aryeh

All screens emit a certain amount of heat due to their electrical componentry. It is normal for them to get warm. If it gets warm to touch and stays that way without getting hot, you have nothing to worry about.

Thank you for your reply and reassurance that this is normal.
