Hi, the generic driver installed on Windows 10, but the display is "fuzzy" and out of focus on almost all applications, most noticeably in Outlook! This is extremely harsh on the eyes. The same display worked perfectly on Windows 7. I am using a Dell Latitude 5480 on Windows 10 64bit, with a Dell port replicator (model K17A) to connect the external display via VGA cable. I don't have a HDMI compatible cable to test. The built in display works perfectly without any distortion. I played around with all the display settings I could find but nothing seemed to improved the fuzziness.

You replied to an old thread. Started a new one.
This may well be the lack of a Windows 10 driver for this 8 year old monitor.
Test without the Dell port replicator =
Latitude 5480 VGA out port --> VGA to VGA cable --> P1911 VGA in port
If still fuzzy, get a different newer monitor that has a Windows 10 driver.
