P1917S, Changing response time to fast makes it slower

Hello all!

I have new monitor P1917S (5:4) connected via DP to Radeon RX 580 8GB. 1280x1024 60Hz.
On default settings response time is not so good on browser during scrolling text is blurring and so on.

Tried to set on monitor Menu Response Time to "Fast", but it makes response time even slower! I can see how changes color of objects during movement!

Latest drivers of video cards and monitor are installed. Windows 10 Pro 64.

Before this monitor was used Samsung E1920NR with response time 5 ms and it was make it real faster even via VGA connection.

The 2010 Samsung E1920NR was connected via a VGA to VGA cable. Do the same with the P1917S. Then test at Response Time Normal and Fast.

Tried the same cable as used before with Samsung (VGA cable to monitor with VGA-to-HDMI converter to videocard RX 580).

Nothing changed with response time... Normal mode gives about 8ms, wich good but often noticable... Changing to Fast mode, wich must be 6ms, makes it even more noticable... In this moment during scrolling page, on fast mode moving all objects (text, images) became more ghosted than in normal mode.

Fast mode must be faster? Right? But all pointed says that it slower! How it can be? And how I can use 6ms mode without ghosted glitches?

You need to post two videos, one at 8ms, one at 6ms. I would also test the P1917S on a different PC and see if the issue appears there.

Can't find a way to record this issue yet... Did you checked other P1917S?
