P2414H, Vostro 1520, monitor USB hub not recognized
Hey,
I just bought the Dell P2414H and it is not recognized by my laptop as an USB-Hub. The Notebook I'm trying to connect to is the Dell Vostro 1520, my OS is Win7 64 bit. Any help?

Disconnect/reconnect the P2414H USB upstream cable into the bottom/rear of the P2414H. Then, test the other end of that USB upstream cable on every USB port on the Vostro 1520, two leftside, two rightside.

I did that several times. My computer tries to find a driver, but after a while it says "driver not installed" and that#s it. In the device manager, I only see a "unknown device".

* Go here
* Be sure that the OS is MS Windows 7 64-bit
* Open Chipset. Download/Install both of those. When done, restart the laptop
* Retest connecting the monitor USB upstream cable to the laptop

I did that. It did not change. Plus, my integrated webcam is not recognized anymore, as well as the bluetooth device. I can't find a driver for the bluetooth or the webcam for the Vostro 1520, either. :/

We are getting out of my depth here. Contact DELL-Terry B. He is our Liaison for laptops other than Alienware. Please contact him via private message by clicking on his name, then click "Send a Private Message". Explain the issues to him. Give him this link:
