P2418D, specifications
Hello all,
I would like to know if the P2418D supports DisplayPort daisy chaining. Although it claims to support DP1.2 it does not seem to have the DP output required for daisy chaining. If this does not support daisy chaining, are there other monitors supporting daisy chaining in the same price range? Also does Dell sell a Thunderbolt to DisplayPort dongle?

There are other differences between DP versions. Not just the addition of daisy chaining.
DP 1.1a = maximum bandwidth 10.8 Gbit/s
DP 1.2 = maximum bandwidth 17.28 Gbit/s
You cannot use the P2418D as the Primary in a daisy chain due to lack of a DP out port. You could use the P2418D as Secondary slaved to a monitor that has DP out port. Like the U2518D.
PC DP out port --> U2518D DP to mDP cable --> U2518D mDP in port (Menu- Display- MST On)
U2518D DP out port --> P2418D DP to DP cable --> P2418D DP in port
