Power consumption U2413

Hello

When monitor is turned off completely, it still takes ~9,5 Watts. Why is that?

Anz10,

Because it is not "off". True off would be if it was unplugged from the power source. The User's Guide page 14 states,"Zero power consumption in OFF mode can only be achieved by disconnecting the power cord from the monitor.".

Hi, Thank You for the answer and for the link. I read that and understand so, if it is switched off from power button, then: "Less than 0.5 W". Now there is very little difference, is it on "Power Save Mode" (and buttun lights are on and blinking) or I switch it off with power button (and lights are off too). ~11,7W vs ~9,5 W. Ok, then I have to disconnect the power cord from monitor, to get consumption lower than ~9 Watts. This is a minor thing, I just wondered, why is it so. It is very good monitor anyway. Thanks. Greetings
