Problem with blurryness

Hi,

I have a Dell E2009W monitor. Every so often (over a number of hours) my monitor goes all blurry. I initially attributed this to either my kettle cable being a little loose or needing to be replaced. I have since replace the cable still have the same problem. I have reset my monitor to its default settings and everything.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Will I need to buy a new monitor - this is something I'm not keen on doing since I've not even had this one for 2 years, but will have to if there's no other alternative.

Thanks in advance,

Jon

Does the same issue occur when the monitor is connected to another PC?

Chris,

This is something I will have to check later in the week, as I'll have to borrow my flatmates laptop.

If there is a problem with the monitor itself, if I extend my Dell warranty,  would this be something that Dell would be able to fix?

Also, do you know how much it costs when extending your warranty?

Thanks,

Jon

I do not know the policies on extending warranties. Call them at 1-800-247-4618.
