SE2416H, releasing the latch to remove the stand
I want to disassemble the stand to send the monitor back for a replacement, but I can't seem to be able to take off its stand. The manual says to insert a thin long screwdriver between where the stand is attached to the back of the monitor, and release a latch. I'm kinda wary of trying too hard in case I break something. Am I supposed to hear or feel something when the latch releases?

* Place a towel on the desk
* Lay the panel on the towel front down
* Slide the panel so the stand is hanging off of the edge of the desk
* Grasp the bottom of the stand slightly pulling up
* Use a long and thin screwdriver to push the release latch. You should feel a very slight give when you release the latch
* Once released, gently slide the stand off
