S2417DG, Troubleshooting setup
Hello i bought the Dell S2417DG G-Sync Monitor and having issues with the power save mode. As soon as i turn on the monitor it immediately goes into power mode. I have yet to even see home screen saver because it immediately goes in to the power save mode. The monitor is fresh out of the box and brand new. I just opened it a few hours ago.

Review the online S2417DG User's Guide.
Read through this, "How to Use and Troubleshoot the Dell S2417DG Gaming Monitor"
Provide the following data;
* What is the monitor 20 digit alpha-numeric monitor serial number and A0x revision?
* Was the monitor purchased new directly from Dell? Or from a reseller?
* What specific computer model?
* What operating system?
* What specific video card?
* What video out ports are on the video card? (VGA/DVI/HDMI/DP/mDP)
* List all monitor cables and/or adapters attached to the computer and the ports they are using. Example =
Computer video card DP out port --> DP to DP cable --> Monitor DP in port
