S2417DG, new, latest revision?

I chatted with Dell support and I was told that they do not have control over which revision is shipped, at least for this product.

You spoke with Sales support and she was correct. Sales cannot choose a specific 5 digit child part number. Sales use a 7 digit parent SKU number. A SKU number could contain several 5 digit child part numbers. When sold, monitors are pulled from different warehouses in queued order. A specific 5 digit child part number can only be obtained via a monitor exchange setup by Technical Support. I was told that if you buy NEW from our site, the monitor would have the latest revision.
