S2716DG, GeForce GTX 1070, 144Hz not working

Same Issue as other user. But every time I try to change the refresh rate it instantly reverts back to 59Hz. I've tried everything. Please help.

Due to some private customer data, I have also replied to your Private Message.

To get G-Sync 144Hz =
* Nvidia video card with a DP 1.2 or higher port
* Nvidia video card with a pixel clock of 586MHz or higher (GTX 980 Ti or better)
* Use the provided S2716DG DP to DP cable
* Latest Nvidia driver
* Windows 7/8/8.1/10

* What PC model?
* What operating system?
* To what specific Nvidia video card is this Nvidia G-Sync S2716DG connected?
* Have you tested all of the DP out ports on the video card using the provided DP to DP cable?

Sorry for late reply,

ive tried and test all ports combined with pc restarts just to be sure. Up to date with drivers on windows, Nvidia. Using DP cable that was supplied.

Am I eligible for a replacement?

The monitor works fine, but I bought this for the high refresh rate and that it was gsync ready. If i wanted a monitor that ran 1440p at 60hz I could have spent at least half of what I spent on this. I'm quite disappointed really.
