S2716DG, Nintendo Switch, no audio

Hey Dell.  I have the same monitor and I'm trying to get sound out of either port but can not. Today I hooked up my Nintendo switch to the monitor and only Nintendo no pc. Turned it all on and no sound. I'm using a Sony 2.1 speakers for my pc in the bottom port and side port neither worked. I also tried 3 sets of headsets still no sound. So questions are how do I get sound out of this thing with do I need a pc as a third party for drivers?

Dell did not test the Nintendo Switch on our monitors. You should post on the Nintendo Switch Support Forum.

The S2716DG bottom Line-out port only supports powered speakers. No headphones. Headphones should only be used in the side Headphone-out jack.

In theory, this is how you would set it up =

Nintendo Switch Dock HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> S2716DG HDMI in port = Maximum resolution 1920x1080

S2716DG bottom Line-out port --> powered speakers

S2716DG Menu- Audio volume set to 50

Then open the Nintendo Switch- Home Menu, select "System Settings". Test all of the TV Sound settings.
