If you did not purchase this directly from Dell, you have to fill out the Service Tag number Ownership Transfer form
You have not mentioned the monitor model yet, but every Dell monitor has a stand alone BID (Built-in Diagnostic), "Read this first before posting". We need to see the pictures of all of the colored screens.
