SCREENSAVER DROPS OUT
I'm using an Acer AL1912 monitor with Dell Vostro 200 desktop and Vista Business. System is 14 months old, and since commencement have found the screen saver stopped working after a few hours, requiring me to go back through Personalization to Screen Saver Settings and reset. Saver would then operate normally for some hours until dropping out again. "Balanced" power option is set. Waiting time is usually set to 2 minutes, at "Fast" Slide Show Speed, using stored photos.
Suddenly the situation has deteriorated and after re-setting the screen saver drops out immediately. Flickering activity at bottom tool bar sems to indicate the system is trying to shuffle to the next slide but failing. Have tried changing selection from Photos to Bubbles, Ribbons, Google Photos Screensaver, etc. but still drops out in same way.
Am using Johns Background Switcher to shuffle Photos as wallpaper (background) and performance of background switching remains okay.
Would greatly appreacite some help with this
