Sent u3011 for replacement, got u3014 back

 Should i contact support again or is it normal that the replacement monitor is a later model? I was just wondering that if this was mistake by dell and i should return it so that there would be no troubles later.

Hi superkick,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your query. Monitors replaced under warranty will be same as the original. However if the original monitor is back-ordered with out any ETA, we ensure the monitor is replaced with a different model whose specifications match that of the original. It will be a 'like or better' model. In case this was a mistake at our end, you would have received a call by now requesting you to send it back.
