U2311H explanation please for the intermittent issue of menu getting locked and sluggishness on power up and resolution change

Hello,

Since the owners of this monitor are well aware of this problem that occurs once in a while, I would like an official explanation from Dell about this issue and a permanent fix. The response given here  is simply a temporary solution and is not related to any software installed on the machine. I too thought it was going to fix the problem but it happen again and I'm not too happy about this.
